Exploring Ko Lanta
Each of Ko Lanta's areas has it's own distinct character -- many
people say it's like six different islands in one.Rent a jeep, some
small motorbikes or take a tour, but make sure you explore the island.
Koh Lanta Canoeing offers
a daily self-paddle trip by canoe through the exciting world of
the mangrove forest. This unusual biosphere is limited to the tropics
and exists as a nursery or permanent living area for numerous animals
and therefore is of important ecological significance.
The Mai Kaeo Caves
located in the hills overlooking Klong Nin village. Only recently
discovered after a fire in the forest, these treasures are home
to some spectacular stalactites and stalagmites. When the sunlight
hits the caves, the places shines like a diamond!
If you’re into minigolf
Then you should defiantly tryout the newest attraction on Koh Lanta
The Minigolf course with its 18 holes is designed so the whole family
can have a lot of fun…
Elephant trekking
If you want to take a ride on one of the majestic creatures, you
can do so close to Phra Ae Beach and at Nui Beach.
Snorkelling
This is snorkel heaven. Don't miss a daytrip by boat to Ko Rok,
often compared to the Red Sea as offering snorkelling as good as
any.Another trip takes you to the Emerald Cave, thought by many
to be the inspiration for 'The Beach'.
Scuba Diving
Two of our dive sites are commonly sited among the world's top ten.Divers
from all corners of the world come to enjoy the warm clear waters
and view their amazing variety.If you're not a diver yet, this is
the time and place to start!
Sea Kayak
See the marvels of natural mangrove forests which line nearby lagoons
and provide the rich variety of sea life around Ko Lanta.Visit small
islands with sheer limestone cliffs, hongs (rooms carved by ocean
tides into rock islands) and swim from beaches on uninhabited paradise
